Fontys University of Applied Sciences offers an enormous array of higher professional education programmes, on Bachelors and Masters level in the Netherlands. Among others, Fontys has programmes in Health Care and Social Work, Economics, Business and Communication, Technology, Visual and Performing Arts, Logistics and Transport, and Education. All programmes are based on the idea of a professional practice in a modern society. This focus is expressed through practical lessons, practice assignments (also abroad), as well as the use of state of the art ICT in the educational programmes. Teaching at Fontys takes place in small groups, which guarantees continuous contact with lecturers.
