Stadslab European Urban Design Laboratory is a knowledge centre for urban design in today’s new European city. During the launching period, Stadslab will concentrate on a number of cases in Central and Eastern Europe, such as Lublin (Poland), Miskolc (Hungary) and Melitopol (Ukraine). The aim of the program is to enhance design experience of (small and medium sized) cities and regions in the fringes of Europe, in order to create coherent, sustainable and successful urban environments. An additional aim is to increase European professional mobility, by exchanging knowledge on work practices in different European countries among participants.
