Ronald Rietveld graduated cum laude in 2003 at the Academy of Building Art in Amsterdam, specialization landscape architecture. In 2004 his graduation project “Delta Works 2.0” was awarded with the ARCHIPRIX (third prize). In 2005 this project was exhibited at the International Architecture Biennale in Rotterdam. In 2001 he was a winner at the 6th EO-Wijersprijsvraag. For 7 years he worked at Bureau B+B in Amsterdam as project architect and designer. With different project teams he worked on projects such as Looking for Jane, de Tulip mountain in Central Park Amsterdam Noord, 10 houses for the Groote Scheere, Machine + Dune and the 700 bunkers in the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. After being a winner at the Prix de Rome in 2006 he started his own design office Ronald Rietveld landscape architecture. |
