Marc Glaudemans (1970) is dean of the Academy of Architecture and Urbanism in Tilburg. He is an architect and holds a PhD in Architectural Theory and History. Marc Glaudemans lectured at several Dutch and International Universities and participated in many international conferences. He started an architectural consultancy firm to work on urban visions and strategies for public and private clients in 2000. In 2006 he founded Stadslab European Urban Design Laboratory, as the postgraduate international program of the Academy. Marc Glaudemans was appointed professor of Urban Strategies at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 2007. He published articles and books on urban landscaping, urban development strategies and architecture. He is member of the scientific committee of the International Urban Development Association (INTA) and holds several other positions in boards of national and international organizations.
